Honda Accord & Honda Crosstour Recall

| February 7, 2012

If you drive a 2012 Honda Accord, you might want to get your vehicle checked. Effective 1/31/12, Honda issued a recall for certain 2012 Accords and Crosstour vehicles.

Reason for the Honda Recall

There appears to be a problem with either the driver or passenger side airbags. These are the airbags that come from the side of the car. The problem is that some of the airbags weren’t manufactured according to spec which may cause them not to deploy in the event of an accident.

What Should You Do?

Beginning February 10, 2012, Honda will begin the recall process. They will contact you, but if you have questions or have concerns, contact Honda -Customer Service. 1-800-999-1009

If you’re unsure if your vehicle is affected by this recent recall, visit the Honda Automobile Recall Information site and insert your vehicle ID number in the space provided. If your car is affected, you will be given additional information.
